THEY ARE HERE.....My sister had the twins, Anabel and Jaden. They are healthy beautiful babies and they are loved by all. It was a long wait, but Anabel and Jaden arrived on June 19th Anabel was 6lbs 5oz and Jaden was 6lbs 8oz both 20inches long. Good size twins, but they are tiny to me since my last was 8lbs 8oz. Noah is happy most of the time and adjusting as well as a 3 year old having twin brother and sister would, but everything is fine. Erin is doing well, tired Im sure but she is doing a great job.

As for us, just hanging out swimming most of the time this summer. we were all in my sister in laws wedding a couple of weeks ago, it was fun and everyone did great, even gavin.

We don't have much planned for the rest of the summer except a trip to great america, just rest and relaxation until school starts, ella will be in preschool this year, she is super excited and Kylie in 2nd grade, what happened to my babies, they grow up so fast.

all three of them painted their own faces, kylie was a tiger, ella was also a tiger, we think she was a confused tiger, she kept changing her mind as you can she a very colorful tiger. Gavin well we don't know what he was, but I think the face paint tasted good, he liked to lick it when I wasn't looking :)

this was the pumpkin kylie made for her pumpkin contest at school, I think she did a great job, she painted it herself, all i did was put in the arms and legs.

here are the halloween pictures, the girls and gavin had a blast. Kylie was a fairy, Ella was snow white and Gavin was a skeleton. Lots of candy, not a lot of tears(surprise surprise)a good time was had by all!!!!

lets see, school started for Kylie, she loves it big first grader with a desk text books and tests, crazy how quickly they grow up.

Papa came to visit and yet again we went to the zoo. We all had fun. we went in Tropic World Asia and everyone loved it of course, especially Gavin. It is really fun to go with the girls, but it is amazing to watch Gavin who is really seeing these animals up close for the first time.

So here is our summer so far. parks and pool that is what my kids want all day long. we had 1 week of straight 90 + degrees and the kids swam from 830am until about 5pm everyday, we all had a great time. this week it has been chilly so no swimming but hopefully the heat will find us again soon and the kids will be happy. Nothing new here just hangin out with the family enjoying the summer. Hope everyone is doing well

Today I was cleaning and the girls said they wanted to help and wash the floors and windows, well Iwasn't going to deny them that experience so, after we picked up the house, and yes Ella actually helped pick things up, she cleaned the whole toy room herself. For those of you who don't know Ella NEVER cleans and if she does, it is because we have had an hour long struggle of her being too tired and spending some time in her room first. anyways, they did a fabulous job all my floors are washed and so are my windows. I knew Karl wouldn't believe me that ella was cleaning so I had to take pictures.

Kylie has been in gymnastics for about 2 years and is doing really well, she is very strong and very good at it. Ella just started Feb. I think and is doing well also. Well, lets see what is new with us, Kylie graduates from KG on Thursday the 21st and then I have a big 1st grader...CRAZY!!!! She is still doing gymnastics and is great at it. her and another little girl have a little solo thing in the gym show which is in a few weeks but it is all a surprise.
Gavin is my smart little boy, he is 1 and knows so much, I know every mom thinks their kid is super smart, but I am actually impressed with this, I don't remember the girls doing this..... I will say lets take a tubby and he walks to the bathroom, I say lets change your diaper and he walks to his room where the diapers are, and I say do you want some milk and he goes to the kitchen by the fridge. If Karl or I don't follow him he turns around and points to where he is going and yells at us, it is funny. The other day I gave him his milk before bed and usually we have milk brush teeth and then bed, well I neglected to brush his teeth and I just put him to bed. Well, 5 minutes later he was crying something fierce so Karl went in to rock him. Karl picked him up and Gavin kept tapping Karls mouth and pointing to the door. Well when Karl found out I didn't brush his teeth, he did it and put gavin back to bed and he went to sleep peacfully, it was too funny. Other then that Gavin is a little boy through and through, he can climb to the top of our swing set, which is about as tall as my shoulders, he climbs on EVERYTHING and not happy to say he is a little bully. He bites, pinches, hits,etc. we are working on this really hard.

Lets see that leaves Ella, well she is my little performer, she sings to everyone on the phone. and does not like when people sing with her, she likes to be the star and have everyone watch her. She constantly asks if she is getting bigger, she wants to go to school, which she will next year if there is room for 3 year olds. We will not know until the end of the summer about that though. She loves all of her sisters friends, and for the most part they are nice to her, but she is the little sister and you all know how that goes. Other then that we are just waiting for the weather to get warm enough to swim, that is all she wants right now.

For those of you who don't know yesterday Ella landed wrong while jumping on the trampoline and she hurt her leg. we went to the dr. and no fractures, but she will not step on it so we are off to the orthopedic dr today to see what is next. she currently has a 1/2 cast on from her hip to her toes. I'll tell you when ella gets hurt she goes all the way, first a broken foot a year ago, and now this, lets just hope this is a little sprain. And of course she just started gymnastics friday which she was so excited for. I really hope this leg thing is nothing!!Poor girl!

Here they are Ridgewood Rebels, Regional Champs. Yes that is what I said, Regional Champs. Coached by the great Karl Frixen. For those of you who do not know, Karl was the Head Varsity Womens Basketball Coach at Ridgewood High School this past season. They struggled this season with a regular season record of 3 and 20. Well here you play in regional games no matter what your record is, and if you lose your season is over. Well they played Chicago Academy, whose record was 15 and 11 or something like that, for their first regional game. The Rebels went on to win by 25 points. We all thought that was it, but then they went on to play last friday. They played Gordon Tech, they played this team the first game of the season and lost by 20 + points. Well, we all went to the game and it was AWESOME. The end of the first quarter we were down 11- 1 and then from then on we got it together and it was a 2 or 3 point ball game the rest of the way. We ended up winning by 2 points. They then advanced to the next round, sectionals, but the girls just didn't have it in them and they lost tuesday so the season is now over. Karl ended his first season as a head coach with a 5 and 20 over all record and a regional win, what a way to end the season. We are all very happy and proud of Karl and next year we are hoping for some more wins, it looks good.

Well now that I have bragged about my wonderful husband, I will let you all get back to your day. Oh, the kids are doing great as well, theyare very happy to have their daddy back full time since the season is over. I am happy as well. Gavin is almost walking, he took one step the other day, sorry Karl I forgot all about it, ya know the third kid. Ella is sassy as ever, too much winter and in the house I guess. Kylie is still loving school. Me, I am good tired of the weather, this winter has been awful. Spring is almost here, well at least that is what I keep telling myself. Well enough about us. Hope everyone is doing good we miss and love you all.

Well, Kylie is 6, can you believe it? I sure can't. We had a little celebration on her birthday with basketball cake and subway, her favorite place to eat. She had her first ever friends party at build a bear and I do not have any pictures due to the fact I forgot my camera. she had fun and so did the rest of her friends.

As for Gavin and Ella, they are good, both had a HORRIBLE cold. I think it was the worst they have ever had. They are better now, still a little cough but doing tons better.

Everything here is the same, Karls basketball team is not doing well, but that is what we expected, he does what he can but it is hard when you are dealing with a team that has won only 3 games in the last 2 seasons. Hopefully next year will be better, the sophomore team is pretty good and they will be varsity next year.

Kylie is still loving school, sometimes she even wants to go to bed early to make the next day come faster. Ella is the same, she is a very funny girl and a trouble maker, but you gotta love her. Gavin is growing day by day. He loves to hold your hands and walk, push trucks and bins across the room while walking, and he waves now. Oh, he also does the sign language for all done when he is done eating, it is rather cute. The little video is of him waving. Sorry there are no other pictures, I really haven't had my camera out. there are a couple of the girls playing in the snow, but other then that we have been stuck in the house lately. I love the snow, but boy am I tired of it. I am so ready for spring. You think I would get used to it since I have lived here my whole life. Over Thanksgiving, Papa came to visit. As you can see the kids keep papa on his toes, or should i say his knees! You have to look, but it is not only Kylie and Ella on him, but Noah is hanging on for dear life on his legs, the kids had a blast.

For those of you who think our dogs are crazy at all times, here is proof that they can be calm. Gavin absolutely loves the dogs and they are really good with him.

Christmas is officially here ( well, at least in our house) Yep, we put up the decorations this weekend and yes we know you are not supposed to do it until after Thanksgiving, but as you know Karl can't wait that long, and neither can Kylie. She is just like her daddy. Hey, this is actually late for us, we usually do it two weeks before Thanksgiving.
